Credit Card data policies
If you DO NOT use Easy InnKeeping to process Credit Card transactions OR store Credit Card information in our system, please disregard this notice.
If you use Easy InnKeeping to process Credit Card transactions via Authorize.net or Stripe:
In conforming to the latest PCI regulations, we are moving all Authorize.net and Stripe users to a Tokenization system. Once implemented, all Credit Card information entered in the Billing screen of the reservation (CC fields in the Payment Entry section of the Reservation screens will be disabled), will be used to process the initial payment. Easy InnKeeping or Easy WebRez will simultaneously send credit card data to be stored in the Stripe/Authorize.net gateway systems. Only the last four digits of the card number will be viewable. Easy InnKeeping will store only a Token, that will allow you to re-process the card for additional payments from that guest, if needed. The Tokens do not expire.
If you do not use Easy InnKeeping to process Credit Card transactions but store CC data in our system:
As of December 4th, 2018, we will be removing the Credit Card information from all past Guest records AND allreservations that have a check-out date prior to October 1, 2018. Moving forward, all future reservations that contain Credit Card data will retain it for thirty (30) days so that any damages or cancellation charges may be applied. Thirty (30) days after check out date, the Credit Card information will be removed.
